I was searching on youtube for Glock 27 performance reviews. One such video gave a bad review of this holster. I never really thought much of the bad review until I eventually bought a G27 and recieved a 20% discount for the store upon activating the warranty.

So I come here and look around, only to find mostly good reviews of this holster that seem pretty convincingly written and genuine. The price was great...actually unbelievable for any official logo merch, so I figured "What the heck" I may as well use the 20 percent off for this and the matching magazine carrier.

Now I had already purchased a IWB holster for daily conceal carry from another company. But I thought that the Glock small holster and magazine pouch together might be a great rig for GSSF competition, as I just joined their sport shooting foundation as a new Glock owner.

The shipping was fast and when it arrived I inspected everything. It turns out that all the good reviews were true. This holster holds my G27 very tight. And in no way does it slip out or feel insecure.

The magazine pouch feels the same way. Very secure. I did take photos showong the great fit. And I wish there was a way to post them.

I do not know if this will change over time. Though I only plan on using this occasionally the range, but mostly for GSSF or local shootong competition.

I give this 5 stars for great price and for exceptional out of the box fit. I fully expect this holster and pouch ensemble to perform well in a competition setting.

I was first issued the small holster to fit our newly issued G22. As the department armorer, instructor I attended the first transition instructor course in New Mexico and we all cut the area out that covered the magazine catch to facilitate “administrative loading”. After 30 years training officers and civilians alike I don’t recommend but one holster style for the Glock and this is it. I have a multitude of other holsters in all style to instruct with and a variety of Glocks and other handguns I demonstrate but this holster outclasses the others in customizing and fit to belt sizes as well as price and 30 year durability.

I have a feeling it's the only holster I'll ever need. Glock should come out with a Gen 5 version though.

This is a great holster. I just got a Glock 17, my first handgun, and ordered this the next day. It fits the gun like a glove, but most surprisingly is how well it conceals. It holds the gun high up, and tight against your body. I definitely recommend wearing it over a tucked-in undershirt (like a white T-shirt) and under your main shirt. I always wear un undershirt anyways so that's easy for me. I'm a thin guy, and with this holster on my belt, I can easily wear the (full-size model) Glock 17 under a regular shirt that I would normally wear, without it being noticeable at all. On top of all that, it's extremely comfortable due to it being on the outside of your pants. I will often forget that I'm even wearing a full-sized handgun on my hip. Plus it's made by Glock, and it's just cool looking if you are into the Glock aesthetic. It's made with the classic hard polymer, and it matches your gun very nicely, especially with a Gen 3 because it has the Gen 1-3 grip texture pattern on it. My only complaint would be that Glock should really make another one that has the Gen 4/5 grip texture pattern instead. They did this with the updated speed-loader tool, and now they should definitely do the same thing with these holsters and mag-holders for the people who own a later-model Glock and want that matching appearance.

I literally have spent hundreds of dollars on holsters in my lifetime and I can tell you that this Glock Sport Combat holster is absolutely the best.
For $14 dollars? What’s not to like? It holds my Glock 19, 19X, and 45
perfectly. The pistols will not fall out of this holster. Holds your weapon
up nice and close to your body. Great job Glock!!

I have had one of these holsters for years. I think I bought it in 2009. It has seen a lot of use with a G27 and G23, and I'm going to be using a new G17 in it as well. These holsters work exceptionally well. To start with, they are molded for the Glock handguns. The trigger is covered and the gun snaps into the holster. I've got holsters that cost as much as $100, but this cheap polymer Glock holster does a great job. More often than not, the expensive leather holster stays at home while I use this one. It holds the pistol tight to your side very securely, and tighter than the leather holster. There are cut out tabs on the wings of the holster which allow for both cant and belt width. While this isn't a prestigious handmade boutique holster, it works just as well, with nothing to be ashamed of. My holster is still as good as new. If it breaks, I will buy another one.

I was issued this holster on 7/27/1989 with my Glock 17 for off-duty carry. Today I noticed the belt loop was cracked. If my math is correct, that is over 28 years of use! I can't say the exact number of times I have worn this, but it is well over a thousand. Any time I did not have to wear that back aching duty belt I wore this holster on my under belt. It holds the gun just as secure today as when it was new! I am ordering another one now. At $14.00 that's only 50 cents a year, best value you can find on a good holster.

I've been carrying a Glock for uniformed and plainclothes duty since 1996. This is the only holster I have ever used for plainclothes duty/off duty wear. I have yet to wear out the first one I bought. I wish Glock would make one for my G42.

Best Holster I've Found

Simple and safe. It protects the trigger, holds the pistol tightly, is secure, and low profile. I use mine for daily carry except wen I need to wear a tucked in shirt and I never am noticed. It is also a great base to use for other applications. With a little creativity you can mount this holster in many places securely. Car, desk, home or office, any place you may find yourself and don't need or want to carry it on your side. In the car it is all but impossible to drawn from a holster you are wearing but if you have this holster mounted to a secure place in your car it becomes very easy to access and more comfortable to drive. Great product well worth the price!

I HAD MY DOUBTS AFTER READING SOME OF THE REVIEWS BUT NOW THAT I HAVE RECEIVED MY HOLSTER, I AM WITHOUT DOUBT THEY WERE WRONG. SEVERAL HAVE REPORTED THAT THIS HOLSTER REQUIRES TWO HANDS TO DRAW, AND THAT THEY WERE SORRY THEY PURCHASED IT. EVIDENTLY THEY ARE NOT AWARE THAT MOST HOLSTERS REQUIRE SOME SORT OF BREAK IN DETAIL. FOR ME IT WAS SIMPLE, AFTER NOTING THE TIGHT FIT FOR MY GLOCK 23 GEN 4, I BAGGED IT WITH A SANDWICH BAG, GAVE IT A FEW TWIST, HOLSTERED THE WEAPON OVERNIGHT, WIPED THE INTERIOR WITH A SILICONE RAG, AND IT WAS GOOD TO GO. THE WEAPON STILL LOCKS INTO THE HOLSTER AND DOES NOT FALL OUT WHEN INVERTED. THE DRAWING ACTION IS AS THOUGH I AM DRAWING IT FROM AIR MINUS A SLIGHT CLICK CREATED FROM THE RAPPID WITHDRAWAL. IT IS COMFORTABLE AND HOLDS TIGHT ENOUGHT TO THE BODY TO CONCEAL WITH A SHIRT WORN NOT SO TIGHT TO THE BODY. PRICE, FIT, SPEED, THIS THING CANNOT BE BEAT. THERE IS ZERO GIVE WHEN RUNNING, OR EVEN JUMPING. I COME FROM A FAMILY OF POLICE OFFICERS AND AM A VETERAN, AND A RETIRED POLICE OFFICER AS WELL. I HAVE CARRIED FROM A VERY YOUNG AGE IN VARIOUS WAYS AND I RANK THIS AMONG THE BEST AND BETTER THAN SOME THAT COST LOTS MORE. I ALSO PURCHASED THE MAGAZINE POUCH AND IT IS EQUALLY IMPRESSIVE. FINALLY THE ANGLE THAT IT PRESENTS THE WEAPON FOR DRAW IS PERFECT. IT ALLOWS THE HAND TO IMMEDIATELY MOUNT AND LOCK HIGH AGAINST THE BEAVER TAIL WHICH ALLOWS FOR A PERFECT RECOILESS DISCHARGE. I WILL PROBABLY BUY ANOTHER SET THAT I WILL CUT TO FIT A LARGER BELT, THIS ONE IS CUT FOR MY ONE AND ONE QUARTER BELT.

Excellence for a dirt cheap price

I have spent close to $100 on products that do not work as well as this holster. After wearing it for a week or so, I was amazed at how well it contoured to fit close to my side for concealed purposes. It's retention is good enough that I can put 11 rounds in my G30 turn it upside down & shake the holster without the gun falling out. As for the price, the cheapest holster at a huge chain store is more expensive so fantastic pricing!!! My Glock will never be put into a different holster. If something happens to this one, I will just buy another for this type of price. I have carried every day with this product for about 18 months! It works as good today as the day I bought it!!!
